Living Unit.

An artist working with stone should be able to settle down for a short period of time in an archaic quarry. A tiny apartment and a roofed over workshop allows him the opportunity to live and to work there.

This project tries to maintain a distance from the landscape through polished metal panels which surround the apartment, thus becoming a crystalline and prominent point. Like a temporary fastened „pipe”, the living unit overlooks the steeply ascending monumental terrain and somehow floats on it.
